About Us

We didn't grow up with mountains in our backyard — we grew up in the city. Where culture, community, and the instinct to protect what we love were nurtured.

Off the Beaten Path is where those worlds collide.

We created Off The Beaten Path because our journey into the outdoors and the Second Amendment showed us something powerful—stories that weren’t being told. Coming from the flatlands of South Florida, we didn’t grow up with mountains in our backyard. Sure, we had beaches and swamps, but there’s something truly awe-inspiring about standing on a mountaintop, surrounded by nothing but nature and solitude.

During COVID, we felt a deep calling. We made the difficult decision to close our recording studio, stepping away from the familiar and into the unknown. That’s when the outdoors became our refuge, our inspiration. And as we explored, we saw a gap—where were the voices of Black, Latino, Asian, and women adventurers in the outdoor and 2A spaces? Their stories weren’t being shared, but we knew they needed to be heard.

That’s why Off The Beaten Path was born. It’s more than just a podcast—it’s a movement. A celebration of culture, adventure, and freedom. We’re here to explore the great outdoors with a blend of culture, comedy, and conversations—all while Breezy lays down the beats.
